Watch Michael Ray's 'Spontaneous,' Impromptu Tribute To Audrina Patridge

Michael Ray revealed an unreleased ballad in an impromptu performance on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast.

The country singer-songwriter said his girlfriend — TV personality, model and actress Audrina Patridge — inspired the song, titled “Smoke.” Host Howie Mandel’s jaw dropped as he listened to Ray’s “spontaneous” and “unplanned” rendition of the song, and applauded the performance afterward.

Ray, 37, and Patridge, 40, appeared to confirm their relationship last summer. Patridge shared a romantic photo with Ray at Tooth & Nail House of Wine in Paso Robles, California, and quoted his song lyrics in the caption: “‘There’s a lot of things in life worth letting go. But the ones that mean the most, you gotta hold’ 🤍.”  The apparent confirmation arrived after months of Ray and Patridge liking one another’s posts and appearing on one another’s stories. Days later, Ray shared other flirty photos together to seemingly confirm their new romance.
