Trace Adkins plays a country singer on "Monarch", but the similarities end there. After all, it's a TV show. Still, somebody asked how much of Trace is in the character. He said, quote, "The only similarity between myself and Albie . . . we do the same thing for a living. (Spoiler Alert) I have yet to bury anybody in the woods [like] Albie did. I'm not saying I'm not gonna have to, but I haven't yet." Blake's real life isn't exactly boring, but it doesn't come close to the stuff that happens on the show. Quote, "I've got five daughters so I'm no stranger to drama. But the drama that Albie has to put up with on a daily basis, I would not. "I leave the set every day going, 'Thank God I don't have to deal with the stuff that man has to deal with.' Because I would put somebody in a sleeper hold every day."
