Country Duo, High Valley Orders Farm Animals Online

You can buy anything online. Literally.

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, country duo High Valley shared a coveted farming secret. Where are “real chicken farmers” sourcing their chickens? Much to everyone’s surprise, High Valley’s grade A chickens are ordered online and shipped to Tennessee from Connecticut.

“I ordered 15 more chickens online, and they showed up, and there was 3 bonus chickens, so I got 18 in the mail. I had four, so I have a total of 22, and I am building a brand new chicken coup because I don’t have enough room.” shared Curtis Rempel.

"So you order them online at chickensonly.com?" Laughs Cody. “Nothing says ‘Legit Farmer’ like ordering your chickens online.” Teases Brad Rempel, who is not only 1/2 of the band but also Curtis' brother.

“I did have to drive to the post office to pick them up,” retorted Curtis.

Have no fear, these chickens will live well into their elder years. Curtis also shared with Cody that all of his chickens are all laying hens, which means that he will be collecting their eggs for years to come.

While Curtis may not name his chickens, his children sure have, and the names are downright awesome. "Mary, Martha, Margaret, and Lisa."

That’s right. Lisa, the chicken. Let that set in and listen to High Valley as they join Cody Alan on the radio Tuesday. You can find your station HERE.
