If there is one thing the pandemic has taught us, it's that we don't *necessarily* have to be together to celebrate holidays. Sure, it's nicer to hang out with each other in person, but now we can celebrate holiday's like St. Patrick's Day World Wide!
Forbes put together a list of a few celebrations you can check out without even leaving the couch!
Tourism Ireland’s St. Patrick’s Day At Home
Spend St. Patrick's Day in Ireland virtually! Tourism Ireland’s “St. Patrick’s Day at Home with Tourism Ireland” is a 90-minute broadcast featuring traditional and modern Irish music and dance from three pubs in Dublin, Belfast and Dingle. The Guinness Storehouse in Dublin will show a master brewer demonstrating how to pour a perfect pint of the famous Irish stout out of a can.

Boston Irish Tourism Association
Boston is proud of its Irish history. So St. Patrick's Day is a big one for the city.
You can visit the website for the Boston’s Irish Heritage Trail to learn the legacy and see amazing landmarks. The three-mile walk of 20 sites starts at the Rose Kennedy Garden on the waterfront and ends at Fenway Park.
In addition, the Irish Film Festival Boston will run virtually this year from March 17 to March 21. The festival will screen Ireland’s major feature films, short videos and documentaries.
Celtic Bayou Festival
The Celtic Bayou Festival kicked off Sunday, March 14 In Lafayette, La and continues through Wednesday, all on Celtic Bayou Festival’s Facebook page. Festivities begin each day at 4pmET. Monday was a talk on the origins of St. Patrick, Tuesday, a family movie night on and on Saint Patrick’s Day, Wednesday, March 17, an event that’s all about Irish songs.
New York City Saint Patrick's Day Parade
The virtual parade kicks off at 10 a.m. Wednesday, in place of the real in-person one along Fifth Avenue. The virtual parade will start off with a composite of past parades, followed by an hour-long program at 11 a.m. featuring Irish and U.S. leaders. Then, at 5 p.m., there is a TV broadcast interview with parade organizers and this year’s parade honorees of essential workers and first responders. The festivities end with a program on NBC 4 at 7 p.m. You can get all the info here
Savannah, GA
The first-ever Shamrock Ships Flotilla will be setting sail in Savannah, GA this year. Organizers say about 40 boats, all decked out in St. Patrick's Day gear, will begin at 11am ET and you can watch online at SavannahCams.com or on land at the Savannah Convention Center as part of the Shamrock Ships Soiree from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saint Paul, Minn is doing it up BIG TIME!
In place of their traditional St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the St. Patrick's Association in Saint Paul is presenting the “2021 Irish Mask-arade,” a drive-thru event with attendees traveling through the route to see stationary parade units. It can be seen via a live broadcast on their Facebook page on March 17, starting at noon CT.
You can watch a virtual performance of the Irish Music & Dance Association with dance and theater and children’s entertainment at the Landmark Center.
Now through March 30, the Celtic Junction Arts Center is digitally showing “Kickin’ It Irish,” a newly-filmed production of this modern fusion of show-style Irish dance and live Irish music. Tickets are available for purchase.
