Amy still has the dress she wore to her mom's funeral and has refused to get rid of it even though she's never going to wear it again. Her mom died 10 years ago, and her dad passed in 2021, and while she was cleaning out her closet, she realized she is still holding on to the dresses she wore their funerals even though she’s never worn them again and doesn’t plan too ever again.
She’s not sure why she feels the need to keep them. It could be because she feels connected to them because she wore them on a hard but meaningful day, but she knows donating them would help someone else. She is going to let them go so someone else can benefit from having them!
