Parker McCollum shared a sweet look at his son, Major Yancey Tyler McCollum, who recently attended his first concert.
The “What Kinda Man” star shared a video on Instagram on Wednesday afternoon (December 4), capturing the moment he welcomed his wife, Hallie Ray Light McCollum, and the couple’s baby to the stage. McCollum and his wife welcomed Baby No. 1 at 7 pounds, 12 ounces, around 2:25 a.m. on August 8, nearly a full week before his due date.
“Baby, why don’t you come out here and say hello?” McCollum said into the microphone on stage as he faced Hallie. The crowd cheered as the award-winning country artist continued: “Little man (is) gonna be asleep in about 10 minutes. This is his first show ever. It’s his first time seeing his dad play a show. This is my wife, Hallie Ray. This is my son, Major Yancey Tyler McCollum, y’all. He couldn’t know less right now. His little headphones. This is his first concert ever. He told me earlier he likes Koe Wetzel way better,” McCollum joked. As Hallie and Major Yancey exited the stage, he said, “thanks for bringing him out here.”
McCollum married his wife in Texas in 2022. They announced earlier this year that they were expecting “Baby M,” and soon confirmed that Baby No. 1 would be a “little cowboy.” McCollum revealed his son’s name in July in an interview on The Spencer Graves Show. Hallie previously shared on her Instagram story that she wants more kids someday, and she “asked Major today [August 19] if he was ready for another sibling.”
