Miranda Lambert & Elle King Join Forces On Fun, Upbeat Collab 'Drunk'

Elle King and Miranda Lambert have released a new song!

Friday (February 26) saw the premiere of another collaboration from former tourmates, King and Lambert, with the arrival of “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home),” a fun, upbeat ditty that fans can sing and dance along to. This time, the country singers delivered a party anthem all about living your best life on the spur of the moment.

On the track’s exhilarating chorus, Lambert and King sing: “So bartender, take my keys / So what do you want from me? / Baby, I'm drunk and I don't wanna go home / Not staying in to fight / I’m staying out all night / Baby, I'm drunk and I don't wanna go home / We don't gotta wait until the weekend / There's always time for jumping off the deep end / So don't you wait up tonight / Don't worry, I'll be fine / Baby, I'm drunk and I don't wanna go home, yeah.”

In addition to the track’s release, the pair also accompanied its release with an ‘80s-themed music video for “Drunk,” which depicts King as a just-married bride and Lambert as one of her bridesmaids.

As aforementioned, this isn’t the songbirds’ first rodeo in the way of making music together. Lambert enlisted King for her all-female version of “Fooled Around And Fell In Love” alongside fellow songstresses like Ashley McBryde and Maren Morris.

Speaking of recording her new song with Lambert, King wrote on Instagram, “I had so much fun collaborating and working with @mirandalambert on this bad ass song written by me and the legend @thenightgame 🤘 Get ready to party to this one!!”
