Mississippi Casinos Reopen

Today's the day that casinos are allowed to reopen, with restrictions on social distancing and sanitizing. And yes, people are ready to play--

Don't expect concerts or buffetts just yet though.

The Mississippi Gaming Commission's reopening guidelines include several restrictions:

The order limits capacity to 50% and requires regular sanitization of everythng from slot machines to card shoes.

Guests will be screened, asked to use hand sanitizer, and encouraged to wear a mask (which will be provided by the casino) while on property.

No valet parking. No entertainment or special events.

One Gulf Coast casino, Beau Rivage, is waiting til June 1st to reopen.
